One Direction Announce Album Title: Take Me Home :)

It's probably one of the biggest questions One Direction fans have had since the group announced the follow-up to their chart-topping debut, Up All Night. And on Wednesday (August 29), Directioners got the news they've been eagerly awaiting when Louis Tomlinson announced the next album would be called ... drum roll please ... Take Me Home.

Louis made the announcement on his Twitter page, writing, "So pleased to tell you that our new album is called "take me home" can't wait for you to hear it! More news soooon! #takemehome." (More details about the release are expected to come soon, and while the album will get a November release, a specific date has yet to be announced.)

1D's lead single, "Live While We're Young," will drop on October 1. It has already broken records, though, becoming the fastest-selling pre-order single in history, Idolator reports. The song was written by Savan Kotecha, Rami Yacoub and Carl Falk, the team that also worked with the guys on their debut, including the hits "One Thing" and "What Makes You Beautiful." "We're Young" has been described as "an immediate, energy-packed song mixing rock undertones with smooth harmonies, about living for the moment."

One Direction shot the video for the track last weekend in England. In a photo from the set, the guys appear wet (and sometimes shirtless, in Niall Horan's case). The video is supposed to look like it's set at a summer music festival, featuring the extras who shoot the guys with water guns. No word on yet on when the video will premiere.
Before they drop "Live While We're Young," the group will take the stage for their first appearance and performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday, September 6. They're up for Best New Artist and Best Pop Video for "What Makes You Beautiful."

But before the VMAs go live, the boy band will host a VMA special, "One Direction: My First Time," which will feature the guys recalling some of their favourite performances from the biggest awards show of the year; 2012 VMA performers like Taylor Swift and Green Day will also recall their first time hitting the Music Awards stage.

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY LIAM!

Since today is Liam's Birthday, I'd like to post his whole profile on Wikipedia for the world to enjoy, and his solos in Up All Night Album!

Liam James Payne, born 29 August 1993 (age 19), is from Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England.Born three weeks early to mother Karen and father Geoff, he has two older sisters, Ruth and Nicola. Until the age of four, Payne had regular tests done in hospital as doctors noticed one of his kidneys was scarred and dysfunctional. To help cope with the pain, he had 32 injections in his arm in the morning and evening as a child. As a student, Payne was heavily involved in sports. Payne was bullied in secondary school and took up boxing lessons at the age of twelve. He was a music technology student at City of Wolverhampton College. Payne had once performed in front of a 26,000 crowd at a Wolverhampton Wanderers' football match.
Payne first auditioned in 2008 to The X Factor's fifth series when he was fourteen. He made it to the judges' houses, but Cowell thought he was not ready for the competition and asked him to come back in two years. Payne cites Justin Timberlake as one of his biggest influences. He also says he draws inspiration from Take That member Gary Barlow when performing. He is currently in a relationship with dancer Danielle Peazer, who has performed with acts such as The Saturdays and Jessie J. They met on The X Factor in 2010 and have been in a relationship ever since. Peazer has received death threats and other forms of cyber bullying on social networking website Twitter, due to her relationship with Payne.
